Privacy notice

This notice explains, in a practical way, how LinkFlow processes personal data when you use the public tools, the authenticated dashboard, and password-protected links.

Data subject channel

For privacy requests involving access, correction, deletion, or objection, contact us at privacidade@linkflow.lat.

1. Who processes your data

LinkFlow is responsible for processing personal data related to the website, the public tools, and the authenticated dashboard.

2. Data we may process

Account data, created links, destination URL, slug, creation and update dates, click count, last click date, tags, folder or category, expiration date, password protection settings, user-agent, referer, and hashed IP for security and abuse prevention.

3. Processing purposes

Providing the shortening service, QR code generation, authentication, password protection, fraud and abuse prevention, attempt throttling, aggregated metrics, legal compliance, and handling data subject requests.

4. Legal bases in general terms

Contract performance or pre-contractual steps to provide the tool, legitimate interest for security and proportionate operational metrics, and compliance with legal or regulatory obligations where applicable. When a processing activity depends on consent, it will be requested specifically.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies and technical mechanisms for authenticated sessions and temporary release of password-protected links. We also use browser local storage for interface preferences such as light or dark theme. In addition, we may use advertising services such as Google AdSense, which may rely on cookies or identifiers to show ads and measure performance in parts of the website. If those services are active, you may find more information and controls in Google's ad settings.

6. Sharing and processors

The service uses infrastructure, database, and authentication providers to operate the product. Sharing happens only to the extent necessary to run the service, provide security, and support operations.

7. Retention and deletion

Data is kept for as long as needed to operate the service, protect the platform, respond to user requests, and comply with legal obligations. Deleted links may remain marked as removed for operational and historical integrity reasons until internal cleanup routines or legal obligations allow deletion.

8. Security

We adopt technical and organizational measures compatible with the current stage of the product, including password hashing for protected links, hashed IP in click logs, authentication controls, attempt limiting, and backend access segregation.

9. Data subject rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization where appropriate, deletion in legal scenarios, information about sharing, portability where applicable, objection, and review of automated decisions according to the nature of the processing and applicable regulation.

10. Privacy contact

Requests related to privacy and data subject rights may be sent to privacidade@linkflow.lat. For general product questions, use contato@linkflow.lat.
